Who Makes D-Pan Possible?

You Do.

Amazing things happen when the worlds of American Sign Language and music meet: A beautiful new art form is born, jobs and educational opportunities are created, and music culture is finally made accessible to millions of deaf and hard of hearing people around the world. But changing the world of music is only a first step towards creating a truly equitable and inclusive cultural environment. Much more work needs to be done.

Deaf audiences need and deserve equal access to drama, poetry, cinema, documentaries and news. Deaf performers, directors, and technicians need and deserve to see their creative dreams realized, to gain access to broad and appreciative audiences, and to have equal access to employment opportunities. And the next generation of deaf and hard of hearing media producers and consumers need the educational opportunities necessary to thrive in a changing media landscape.

D-PAN is working hard not only to create best-of-breed arts and entertainment products for nonhearing audiences, but to create the permanent support required for the deaf creative community to fulfill their artistic ambitions, enriching the whole world through their works. We're working on creating vital new educational programs, developing employment opportunities, creating distribution channels for deaf media, and raising the profile of deaf performers and other creators across America and around the world. We can do it - but only with help from you.
